The Let Down
It is so upsetting sometimes when situation turns against you. And people let you down, time and again. Disappointments are worst when you put your trust in people, that they will believe in your vision and guard it.
Sadly, in such an imperfect world. We know that no one is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes.
People can let you down, mock you, judge you, put you down, but ultimately it is your choice whether to let those things affect you.
Revenge? No. What difference does that make you from them if you do the same. Judge not.
Matthew 5:38-40 (NKJV)
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40 If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also.
