Walking on Water

Don't we question ourselves sometimes? In the stormy days, we tend to fear and doubt. Thoughts like, "It's impossible! I'll never make it!" starts flooding our mind. And we are back to square one again. All your efforts seemed to have gone down the drain yet another time.

Life seems unfair, you feel like you are stuck, you are drowning, you want to give up. You eventually stop fighting for what you believe in, and what you wanted to achieve. See, it is definitely not easy to go through the challenges in life. It is never going to be easy, you will have many setbacks and disappointments, but one principle I really believe in, "if it doesn't kill you, it'll only make you stronger." It is so true.

If you take your failures/mistakes and look at it from that perspective. You will learn from it rather than get discouraged by it. Your stumbling block becomes a stepping stone. Your disappointment turns out to be a new appointment.

One of my favourite sayings, "the wind of a slammed door opens another"

So why give up now? You are almost there. The results may not be visible yet, but keep on going with persistency and endurance. You will reap the fruits of your labour. Storms may come, but if you take each step by faith. Before you know it, you'll realise you've already reached your destination.

Matthew 14:29-33 (NKJV)
29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous,[b] he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” 31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 Then those who were in the boat came and[c] worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”
