How you Enter

Wow isn't it fast? 2008 has just passed in a blink of an eye. Many things has happened, the good, the bad. But at the end of the day, I thank God for all of them. Because every victory or even failure form a part of me.

Moving on, don't look back at 2008 no matter what has happened. Don't dwell on your past victories, and forget that new challeges are set ahead. At the same time, don't dwell on your past defeats, things that disappoint you, or let you down. Look forward, look ahead, look at what the future holds.
How you enter the year will ultimately set the pace for the rest of it. Its like getting the ball rolling. Don't kick it too fast, or too slow. Pace, set goals, realistic ones. Yes, some may say setting new year resolution is a bad thing. But hey, a man without vision is dead. I rather set a goal, even if I don't reach it, but I try, and improve. Then to live a life without a visions or a goal, and remain comfortable at where I am, and stay stagnant for the rest of my life.

Of course setting realistic goals are important. As setting an unrealistic one may dampened ones spirit. "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life." (Proverbs 13:12)
Start dreaming, visualising. If you can see it, you can have it.

So start the year on the right foot now, look ahead, 2008 is over. Whatever has happened has happened. It's not too late to start now. Besides you have 364 days left =)

Hebrews 12:1-2 (NKJV)
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
